• Cotside Bumpers at a glance Entrapment is a common problem in beds with rails and we have tried to overcome this by producing cotside bumpers with the MHRA's anti-entrapment requirements in mind.
  
  
  

• Extended height rails ERI To meet regulations for height of rail above mattress surface-extra 145mm. When used with metal rails extra extend length to 190cm. Solves problems when air mattress is placed on top of static mattress.
  
  
  
  

• Two Bar Bumpers TRCSB With net windows, cover top and bottom rails independently. When lowered no part of the padding will come into contact with the floor, 200cm long
  
  Available in wipe clean or fully machine washable – for infection control.

• Head and Foot board Padding HFSTD These parts of the bed can now be protected with this wipe clean padded bumper
  
  100cm long – tapered for side rail tracking.

• All round protection Achieved by using full length side bumpers with head and foot board padding.
  

• Wrap round padding CSBPBW Can be used with metal rails which are not usually full length, giving 200cm length Double end flaps to wrap round head and foot end of bed to close gaps. Fastening with hook & Loop.
  Also available in connected form to close gap between bumper & bed rail. (pairs)

• Full Washable padding MWBE To meet infection control needs. Closed ended “tea cosy” style covering the whole rail with hook and loop to close along bottom edge.

• Cotside Bumpers CSB To fit a vast range of bed rails from 140cm to 205cm long and various heights. The Basic wipe clean bumper has a foam inner and full length hook and loop fastenings along the bottom edge. Available in extra high to fit high rails when an extra overlay is being used.

• CSBHE Closed ends cotside bumpers to totally enclose trombone type rails. The closed ends ensure a secure fit and cover the vertical spaces.

Specification: A rounded foam pad covered in wipe clean material clips onto the top of rail and a strong clear PVC panel closes the spaces between the side rails.

The protectors are held firmly in place by 3 or 4 vertical hook and loop straps, depending on the length: 135cm & 183cm & 200cm. CSBHL size 183 x 90cm

Extra Secure Model has a net which passes under the mattress and connects the two side panels together, thus closing the gap between the rails and the bed frame.

• Net to Close Gaps in Rails NET A simple strong net covers the rails – tea cosy style – tough and closed along the bottom edge.
